2024 Recycling Tonnage Reporting

Each year, as required by the Sussex County Solid Waste Management Plan and New Jersey Recycling Regulations NJAC 7:26A-10.3, all Businesses and Institutions must submit annual Recycling Tonnage Reports to the municipality in which they are located.

Who reports?
Required reporters are Solid Waste/Recycling Haulers, and non-residential generators (owner, agent, lessee, tenant, operator, contractor, builder or occupant of every building for commercial, retail, wholesale, industrial, construction sites, restaurants, taverns, schools, institutions, warehouses, factories, offices, etc.
How do you report?
Complete the form: 2024 Business Recycling Tonnage Report. Provide recycling tonnage amounts for all listed categories of materials. Reports can be mailed, emailed or faxed to the Sussex County municipality in which the recycling was generated. Send copies to the SCMUA, Attn. When do you report?
The 2024 Business Recycling Tonnage Report is required to be submitted to the proper Sussex County municipality no later than March 1st, 2025.
